Our food has a reputation - like Thai weather - for being fiercely hot, but in reality we have an equal number of hot and plain dishes. A number of countries have influenced our cuisine - which is often regarded as a cross between Indian and Chinese - however, it maintains its own unique style and delicate flavour

A typical Thai meal normally consists of a couple of meat dishes together with a vegetable dish and some rice and noodles, which are shared amongst everybody.
